English at its worst by so called educated people...
Nowadays the people have started missing few characters in every word while writing. Especially in e-mails, Orkut scraps, writing sms etc. For example to write "you" they write simply "u", to write "are" they write "r". As an educated person should we appreciate this? I never write like that, never appreciate persons who write like that. Because if we don't write some characters then why did we give importance for spelling while studying in school. I saw an article in "The Hindu" on a Saturday saying "since the school students use mobiles widely they are used to this type of writing. As a result of this they started writing exams in the same manner which results in losing marks for them." Please post your thoughts/comments here....
